Welcome to the Baden-Württemberg Economic Summit - EU 2025

This year's Economic Summit will take place on October 1 and 2 in Brussels.

The "Baden-Württemberg-EU Business Summit" is the platform for exchange between decision-makers from business, politics and society in Baden-Württemberg and the European institutions. The focus is on challenges and future strategies for companies throughout Europe. To this end, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism organizes public forums and background discussions in close partnership with the state's leading business associations.

The new legislative period of the EU institutions stands for a new departure in economic policy. The focus is on a strong European location - through less bureaucracy, a deepened internal market and targeted impulses for key industries. At the same time, external pressure is growing: geopolitics, trade conflicts, dependencies - Europe's scope is changing rapidly. In this area of tension, strong impetus is needed from the regions. The central question is: What do the new economic and political realities mean for Europe as a business location - and what contribution can Baden-Württemberg make?
