The Economic Summit 2024 - Impressions from the two days
At the 2021 / 2022 Economic Summit on 31 January 2022, Baden-Württemberg's Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL, discussed the transformation of the economy and the European Green Deal with the leaders of Baden-Württemberg's economy and high-ranking EU representatives at a hybrid event.
Under the guiding theme of “A sustainable and competitive Europe”, the Minister discussed the various challenges facing the economy and possible solutions from Baden-Württemberg with her guests.
Due to the pandemic, the 2020 Business Summit was held purely digitally. Under the guiding theme “Ways out of the Corona crisis”, Minister Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut MdL discussed possibilities and strategies of the EU and the Baden-Württemberg innovation region for economic reconstruction together with representatives of the Southwest economic associations and representatives of the European Union.
State Secretary Katrin Schütz reflects on a successful 2019 Economic Summit with over 300 participants: "The great interest demonstrates the importance of direct economic policy exchange between Baden-Württemberg and the European Union."
The first Baden-Württemberg - EU Economic Summit attracted over 200 visitors to Brussels in 2018.
Under the theme "Securing and Increasing Competitiveness," Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, Minister of Economic Affairs, Labor and Housing of Baden-Württemberg, met with representatives of Baden-Württemberg's business community and the EU in various forums and events.
