Welcome to the Baden-Württemberg–EU Economic Summit 2026
Europe meets business.
From 1 to 3 December 2026, the Baden-Württemberg–EU Economic Summit will bring together European decision-makers with entrepreneurs, business associations, innovators and other stakeholders from one of Europe’s leading industrial regions. For more than nine years, the Summit has provided a platform for direct exchange between EU institutions, policymakers and the business community.
The Economic Summit is organised by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism in close partnership with the state’s leading business associations.
Strengthening our location. Strengthening Europe.
The economic policy environment remains challenging. Europe is under pressure to safeguard its competitiveness, mobilise investment and strengthen industrial value creation in the long term. At the same time, companies face the challenge of successfully navigating transformation, digitalisation and new technologies in a rapidly changing geo-economic environment.
The key question now is how strategies and reforms can be translated into tangible improvements for businesses and regions.
This is precisely where the 2026 Economic Summit comes in. Under the theme “Strengthening our location. strengthening Europe”, the focus will be on the following questions: How can we safeguard Europe’s competitiveness? How can we create space for innovation and investment? How can industrial transformation succeed in a changing geo-economic landscape? And how can European policy deliver tangible impact at the local level?
Three days. One shared dialogue.
From 1 to 3 December 2026, you can look forward to high-level talks, expert discussions and personal encounters at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the European Union in Brussels.
We invite you to be part of this dialogue!
